Team Friday

Friday Magazine is brought to you by a diverse collective of Muslim women who contribute, create and curate the best conscious living content for our audience. Headed by our Editor-in-Chief Sadaff Rangrez, the team is brimming with depth, intellect and beauty, on the inside and out.

Sadaff, an accomplished art director with over two decades of experience is well versed in the power of branding and visual identity of lifestyle, B2B, and customer publications. Motivated by a vision for elevating print media and amplifying the voices of ambitious Muslim women, the idea for Friday was born years ago and she continues to refine it at every opportunity. Informed by global events, her work is a thoughtful response to redefining how Muslim women see, celebrate and uplift themselves – breaking unhealthy cycles and setting a new standard for role models across generations.

“If you can’t see it, you can’t be it.”

“As Muslim women, we know that we’re stereotyped. We’re reduced to the notion of being less than, oppressed, and unable to integrate into societies outside our cultural norms. The reality is that we are actually talented, strong and capable but we fall ill to imposter syndrome and play ourselves down to people please. I am tired of seeing Muslim women playing it small. As a mother to two teen girls, I want them to see Muslim women showing up, shining and slaying on a global stage so they can level up their goals and achieve the things I know they’re capable of. If you can’t see it, you can’t be it. And Friday is going to fix that for us all.”
